Mackenzie "Kenzie" Jordan

Mackenzie Jordan is a passionate and creative second-year student in the Media and Communications program at Assiniboine College. In high-school, she decided to join the schools film class, interested in the idea of expressing her creativity through visual media. The freedom to explore her creativity and capture the beauty around her inspired her to take this course.

Unsure of post-secondary options for photography, Mackenzie consulted with her Career Counsellor, who recommended the Media and Communications program at Assiniboine College. Excited by the prospect of refining her skills, Mackenzie enrolled in the program, eager to dive deeper into the world of visual media. The program provided her with the opportunity to enhance her technical knowledge and artistic abilities, allowing her to develop her photography skills further. She learned valuable techniques and gained insight into the various aspects of media, all of which helped her grow as a photographer.

As she entered Assiniboine College’s Media and Communications program, Kenzie found herself diving deeper into the world of visual media. The program not only expanded her technical knowledge but also allowed her to nurture her artistic talents. She was able to refine her photography skills, learning useful techniques and more.

This program has helped to elevate her photography career. As she developed her skills, she was able to turn her passion into a business. She photographs things all the way from weddings to other big events, she has had the privilege of documenting life’s most meaningful occasions.

What inspires Mackenzie the most is the beauty she sees in the world around her; Kenzie finds inspiration in all things that she finds visually pleasing. Along with that, she is deeply inspired by the concept of love. Love, in all its forms, is at the heart of her work.

As Mackenzie continues her studies and builds her business, she remains excited about the future of her photography career. She is committed to expanding her craft and looks forward to the many opportunities that lie ahead. With her passion for creativity and her love for capturing beautiful moments, Mackenzie Jordan is sure to make a lasting impact in the world of media and photography.
